Casa de Pilatos is an Andalusian palace in Seville, Spain, begun in 1483 and now the official residence of the Dukes of Medinaceli. Blending Italian Renaissance architecture with Mudéjar decorative traditions, it stands as the prototype of the Andalusian palace type. The building's interior showcases one of the world's largest early-modern collections of azulejos (glazed tiles), comprising around 150 distinct designs created in the 1530s by the brothers Diego and Juan Pulido. Recognized as a bien de interés cultural, Casa de Pilatos demonstrates the sophisticated synthesis of European and Islamic artistic traditions characteristic of sixteenth-century Andalusian nobility.
