The Castle of Coca, built in 1453 in the municipality of Coca in central Spain, stands as one of the finest examples of Spanish Mudejar brickwork, a distinctive style that synthesizes Moorish Muslim design and construction techniques with Gothic architecture. The castle's heritage significance is recognized through its designation as a bien de interés cultural (cultural asset of national interest). Its architectural influence has proven enduring: scale models of the fortress have been recreated at the Mudéjar theme park in Spain and at Minimundus, a miniature park in Klagenfurt, Austria, where a 1:25 replica represents the castle's iconic design.
