Racconigi Castle, a palace and landscape park in the Piedmontese province of Cuneo, served as the official residence of the Carignano line of the House of Savoy. Designed by the Baroque architect Guarino Guarini, the castle exemplifies the architectural ambitions of the Savoyard dynasty. Today it functions as a multifaceted museum complex, encompassing religious, historical, military, and decorative collections, while its grounds preserve the formal landscape design integral to the estate. The castle is among the Residences of the Royal House of Savoy designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, acknowledging its significance both as an architectural achievement and as a testament to dynastic power in early modern Italy.
