The Cat House (Kaķu nams) is a multifamily residential building at 10 Meistaru iela in the old town of Riga, Latvia. Designed by Friedrich Scheffel and built in 1909, it blends medieval-style architecture with Art Nouveau elements. It is best known for two roof-mounted cat sculptures with arched backs and raised tails. The owner reportedly wanted them placed with their tails turned toward the nearby Great Guild house, against whose members he held a grudge, but it was later ordered that they be turned to face the guildhouse.
