The Catete Palace is an urban mansion in the Flamengo neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, stretching from Rua do Catete to Praia do Flamengo. Construction began in 1858 and ended in 1867, in an eclectic Neoclassical style attributed to the architect Carl Friedrich Gustav Waehneldt. It served as Brazil's presidential palace from 1897 to 1960 and now houses the Museu da República.
