The Cathedral Basilica of St. Stephen the King stands in Székesfehérvár, Hungary, and serves as the seat of the Diocese of Székesfehérvár, created in 1777 by Pope Pius VI. Built in the Baroque style between 1758 and 1768, its choir and altar were designed by the Austrian architect Franz Anton Hillebrandt, and its interior frescoes depict scenes from the life of King Stephen I.
