Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception stands in the historical center of Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico, and is the city's main religious building and seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Mazatlán. Work began in 1856 under Bishop Pedro Loza y Pardavé, passed to parish priest Miguel Lacarra, and was completed in 1899. Its three naves share the same height, and an octagonal dome with lantern, topped by an iron cross, crowns the building. It was consecrated on 12 December 1941.
