The Cathedral of Saint Nicholas stands in Murska Sobota, Slovenia, and serves as the seat of the diocese created in 2006. The present Neo-Romanesque building, completed in 1912 in reinforced concrete, replaced a medieval cathedral of 1350 and includes some Jugendstil decorative elements. Its 1992 organ, with 37 registers, is one of the largest in the country. It is designated a monument of local significance.
