The Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, an archcathedral basilica in Santiago de Compostela, Galicia, Spain, is a Romanesque structure with later Gothic and Baroque additions. It is the reputed burial place of Saint James the Great and marks the traditional end of the Way of St James, a pilgrimage route in use since the Early Middle Ages.
