The Cathedral of St. Nicholas stands overlooking the market square (Rynek) in Bielsko-Biała, Poland, and serves as the city's main Roman Catholic church. Founded between 1443 and 1447, it was almost completely rebuilt at the beginning of the 20th century to a design by Viennese architect Leopold Bauer. It became a cathedral in 1992, when the dioceses of Bielsko and Żywiec were created, and its tower rises 61 metres above the city.
