The Cathedral of the Resurrection and St. Thomas the Apostle stands in the old town of Zamość, southeastern Poland. This brick Renaissance church was designed by the Italian architect Bernardo Morando, who took Italian churches of the 15th and 16th centuries as his reference. Founded by the city's founder, Jan Zamoyski, it was a collegiate church until 1992, when the Diocese of Zamość-Lubaczów was established and it became a cathedral.
