The Cecil Hotel is a 14-storey building in Downtown Los Angeles, opened as a hotel on December 20, 1924, in the Beaux-Arts and Art Deco styles. Designated a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument, it has 700 guest rooms and was renamed the Stay On Main in 2011. After renovations begun in 2017 were halted by the COVID-19 pandemic, it was reinaugurated as an affordable housing complex in December 2021.
