Central Zelenchuksky Church stands in Nizhny Arkhyz, in Russia's Karachay-Cherkessia Republic, and is a federal cultural heritage site. It is an Alanian church in the Byzantine style and the oldest church in its settlement. Built in two stages, construction began in the early 10th century and was finished in 932, with a second stage completed around 950–960 after the Alans returned to Christianity, making only small changes to the original plan.
