The Centre Block is the main building of the Canadian Parliament on Parliament Hill in Ottawa, housing the House of Commons and Senate chambers. Designed by John A. Pearson and Jean-Omer Marchand in the Gothic Revival style and built of sandstone, it is the second building on the site, as the first was destroyed by fire in 1916. Only the Library of Parliament survives from the original. It is a classified federal heritage building.
