Charlottenborg Palace is a baroque town mansion on the corner of Kongens Nytorv and Nyhavn in Copenhagen, Denmark. Built in 1677 by Ewert Janssen as a residence for Ulrik Frederik Gyldenløve, it has housed the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts since the academy's founding in 1754. Today it also contains Kunsthal Charlottenborg, a contemporary art institution, and Danmarks Kunstbibliotek, the Royal Art Library.
