The Château d'Haroué, also called the château de Craon, stands in Haroué in Meurthe-et-Moselle, Lorraine. Germain Boffrand built it between 1720 and 1732 for Marc de Beauvau, prince de Craon, while Lorraine was still independent of France. Unusually for the classicist period, he incorporated the four towers and moat of an older medieval château into the design, which also symbolises a year through its 365 windows, 52 fireplaces and 12 towers. It was classified as a monument historique in 1983.
