The Château de Bonaguil is a castle in the French commune of Saint-Front-sur-Lémance, Lot-et-Garonne, set on a steep, rocky promontory whose name is said to derive from "bonne aiguille" (good needle). Built in the 13th century, it was largely restructured at the end of the 15th and beginning of the 16th centuries by Bérenger de Roquefeuil, who added its late medieval defences. Covering 7,500 square metres, it incorporated the latest artillery developments, yet was already obsolete on completion and was never attacked. It has been a classified historic monument since 1862.
