The Château de Loches, also called the Logis Royal de Loches, is a medieval castle in the town of Loches in the Indre-et-Loire département of France's Loire Valley. It stands about 500 metres from the river Indre and dominates the town, chiefly for its massive square keep. King Philip II of France captured it from the English in 1204.
