The Château de Losse is a medieval fortress overlooking the Vézère river at Thonac, in the Périgord region of south-western France, near the Lascaux caves. A Renaissance hall was built within the stronghold in 1575, and the castle is enclosed by curtain walls and a deep ditch. Listed as a historic monument since 1928, its gardens are designated Remarkable Gardens by the Ministry of Culture.
