The Château de Montségur is a former fortress and ruin near the commune of Montségur in the Ariège department of southern France. Its ruins occupy the site of a razed Cathar stronghold, though the surviving fortress dates from a later period than the Cathar era. It has been listed as a monument historique since 1862 and is part of the Royal Capetian Fortresses of Languedoc, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in July 2026.
