Château de Tanlay is a Renaissance château at Tanlay in the Yonne department of Burgundy, France, and a classified historical monument. Its limestone walls rise beneath tall slate roofs around three sides of a central court, with cylindrical towers at the corners and a rectilinear moat encircling the whole. Rebuilding began under François de Coligny d'Andelot, who inherited the ruinous site in 1547, and the château was completed between 1643 and 1649 by Michel Particeli d'Hemery to designs by Pierre Le Muet. It is known for its trompe-l'œil gallery and the frescoes in the Tour de la Ligue.
