The Church of Panagia Protothronos, dedicated to the Annunciation, stands in the village of Halki in Tragaia, in the interior of Naxos, Greece. It was probably an early Christian basilica, of which only the synthronon and episcopal throne survive, and in middle Byzantine times it was converted into a transitional cross-in-square church. An architrave inscription records a renovation in 1052, and its interior holds frescoes from several periods.
