The Church of Santo Domingo de Guzmán stands in Oaxaca de Juárez, Mexico, and is an example of New Spanish Baroque architecture. The Dominican Order received lots for the complex in 1551, and the conventual complex was inaugurated in 1608 while still unfinished. After serving as a military warehouse and a stable, it was returned to the Church under Porfirio Díaz, and it is now part of the UNESCO-listed Historic Center of Oaxaca.
