The Church of St. Francis of Assisi is a Roman Catholic church and friary on the west side of All Saints Square at Franciszkańska 2 in Kraków's Old Town, across the street from the Bishop's Palace. Built in Gothic style from brick, with construction dating to 1269, it is a minor basilica and an immovable monument in Poland. The Franciscan friar Maximilian Kolbe was based here in 1919 and led his first service at the church upon Poland's return to sovereignty.
