Located in Slough, Berkshire, the Church of St Laurence at Upton-cum-Chalvey is the oldest building in the borough, dating to around 1150 when a wooden parish church was replaced with a Norman flint structure. The current church retains the original Norman tower and outside walls, some constructed of puddingstone, along with two significant medieval survivals: an ancient baptismal font and a piscina. A 13th-century Italian allegorical image of the Trinity, though mutilated during the English Reformation, was later reassembled during the church's restoration. Now a Grade I listed building, it remains one of three Church of England parish churches in the benefice of Upton-cum-Chalvey.
