The Church of the Redeemer (Erlöserkirche) in the Innenstadt of Bad Homburg, Germany, was finished in 1908 and belongs to the Protestant Church in Germany. Designed by Max Spitta and Franz Schwechten, it has a heavy Romanesque Revival exterior, while its interior is neo-Byzantine, with rich marble wall decoration and gold mosaics covering the domed ceiling. The interior has earned it the nickname "Bad Homburg's Hagia Sophia." It is a cultural heritage monument in Hesse.
