Cilgerran Castle is a ruined 13th-century castle in Cilgerran, Pembrokeshire, Wales, near Cardigan. The first castle on the site is thought to have been built by Gerald of Windsor around 1110–1115, and construction of the stone castle began after 1223 under William Marshal, 2nd Earl of Pembroke. Backing onto a cliff face, it is distinguished by a pair of drum towers rather than a central keep, and it is a National Monument of Wales and a Grade I listed building.
