Cine City, originally the Scala Cinema, stood at 494 Wilmslow Road in Withington, Manchester, England. It opened in 1912 as The Scala and was the third cinema to open in Britain. It closed in July 2001, later won a stay of execution from heritage groups, and was demolished in spring 2008. A residential building now occupies the site.
