Colfax station is a surface railway station in Colfax, California, served by Amtrak's California Zephyr and unstaffed. Built in 1905 by the Southern Pacific Railroad in the Colonial Revival style, it was restored in the early 21st century and houses a waiting room along with the Colfax Heritage Museum. Its platform is movable to clear Union Pacific rotary snowplows, which are liable to scrape a platform eight inches above the top of the rail. The station is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
