The Cologne Central Mosque stands in the Ehrenfeld neighbourhood of Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Commissioned by DİTİB, the German branch of the Turkish-Islamic Union for Religious Affairs, and designed by Gottfried Böhm, it was completed in 2017. Inspired by Neo-Ottoman architecture, it features glass walls, two minarets and a dome, and rises 55 metres. As the largest mosque in Germany, it accommodates up to 4,000 worshippers.
