The Colonne di San Lorenzo is a group of ancient Roman ruins standing before the Basilica of San Lorenzo in central Milan. Constructed around 200 CE from Marmo di Musso (a local marble), these columns rise 7.5 meters and represent rare surviving examples of Roman architecture within the city. Once part of a larger classical structure, they now stand as a colonnade monument that testifies to Milan's significance during the Roman period.
