Congregation B'nai Israel, located on Indian School Road NE in Albuquerque, is a Conservative Jewish synagogue completed in 1971 and designed by architect George Wynn in the Expressionist style. The building's most striking feature is its distinctive undulating conical roof, formed from polyurethane foam, which gives the structure a sculptural, organic quality unusual for religious architecture of its era. Recognized for its architectural significance and importance to Albuquerque's Jewish community, the synagogue was listed on both the New Mexico State Register of Cultural Properties and the National Register of Historic Places in 2019.
