The Cortland County Courthouse stands in Cortland, New York, a three-story Beaux-Arts building designed by James Riely Gordon and completed in 1924. Built of Indiana limestone in the shape of a Latin cross, it sits within a three-acre park. Its distinctive cupola and rotunda rest on an octagonal base, above which are 24 Corinthian columns. The courthouse was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.
