The Cozad–Bates House is a house at the Mayfield Road and East 115th Street intersection in University Circle, Cleveland, Ohio. It is the oldest and only surviving pre-Civil War structure in the neighborhood and is historically linked to the Underground Railroad. Abolitionist Andrew Cozad built it in 1853 for his son Justus L. Cozad, who added an Italianate front in 1872. Its hipped roof, curved bay windows, paired eave brackets and prominent belvedere reflect Italianate influence. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.
