The Crown Hotel is a Grade II listed public house on Lime Street in Liverpool, built in 1905 in the Art Nouveau style. Constructed of brick with stucco and ground-floor marble facing, the three-storey building with attic features two distinctive frontages: one on Lime Street with two bays, and another on Skelhorne Street with three bays. Pilasters rise between the bays to the roofline, each crowned with a cornice, while bow windows grace the upper floors of the Lime Street and right-hand Skelhorne Street bays. The façade displays the hotel's name in elaborate lettering between floors, with a striking panel advertising Walkers Ales on the left Skelhorne Street bay. Attic lunettes sit beneath ornate architraves, and the interior preserves moulded coffered ceilings and engraved glass detailing.
