Cuenca Cathedral, dedicated to Saint Mary and Saint Julian, is a Roman Catholic cathedral in the city of Cuenca, Spain, and the seat of the local diocese. Work began in 1182 and was largely completed by 1257. It is one of the earliest Spanish examples of Gothic architecture, raised when Romanesque still predominated on the Iberian Peninsula. Its facade was partly rebuilt in the neo-Gothic style in 1910 after the bell tower collapsed in 1902.
