Culzean Castle stands on a clifftop overlooking the Firth of Clyde near Maybole in South Ayrshire, on Scotland's west coast. Designed by Robert Adam, it was formerly the home of the Marquess of Ailsa, chief of Clan Kennedy, and is now owned by the National Trust for Scotland. It is a Category A listed building set within a 240-acre country park.
