De Bleeke Dood is a stellingmill (a windmill built on an elevated wooden framework) constructed in 1656 in Zaanstad, Netherlands. Now designated a Rijksmonument, it stands as a surviving example of the timber-framed windmills that once characterized the industrial landscape of the Zaan region, where such structures played a vital role in grinding grain and powering other craft industries during the Dutch Golden Age.
