De Gekroonde Poelenburg is a paltrock windmill built in 1866 in Zaanstad, Netherlands, and now protected as a Rijksmonument. The paltrock design—a type of Dutch windmill with a rotating upper structure mounted on a fixed stone or brick base—allowed the miller to turn only the top portion to face changing winds, making it well suited to the industrial milling operations of the Zaandam region.
