The Delaware Building is an Italianate office building in Chicago's Loop, constructed in 1874 during the rebuilding that followed the Great Chicago Fire of 1871. It remains one of the few buildings in its area to retain its 1870s character amid modern neighbors, and it is notable for its early use of a precast concrete façade. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974 and designated a Chicago Landmark in 1983.
