Located in Forest, Belgium, the Director's residence and distillery Dumont frères is a complex of residential and industrial buildings erected between 1890 and the early twentieth century in the neo-Flemish Renaissance style. The workshop, constructed in 1890 by contractor Gustave Lechien, initiated the site's development as both a private residence for the distillery's director and a functional production facility. The architectural ensemble exemplifies the Renaissance Revival aesthetic popular during the industrial era, blending ornamental domestic architecture with utilitarian industrial structures within a cohesive design approach characteristic of late-nineteenth-century Belgian manufacturing enterprises.
