Built in 1905 in Sosnowiec, Poland, Dom Ludowy in Ostrowy Górnicze is a brick house and cultural center designed by architect Franciszek Lilpop in the Zakopane Style. This architectural approach, which draws on traditional Polish highland aesthetics, was adapted here for a public building in an industrial region. The structure serves as both a residential and communal space, reflecting early twentieth-century efforts to provide cultural facilities for working communities. Today it is recognized as an immovable monument in Poland.
