Built in 1934, the Don Gaspar Bridge carries Don Gaspar Avenue across the Santa Fe River between Alameda and E. De Vargas Streets in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Designed by state bridge engineer E.B. Van de Greyn, this reinforced concrete deck arch bridge exemplifies Pueblo Revival Style architecture and marked a significant local innovation in bridge construction by introducing reinforced concrete that achieved a thinner, more visually appealing form than earlier methods. Also known as El Puente de Los Conquistadores, the bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.
