Doornenburg Castle is a château and museum near the village of Doornenburg in Lingewaard, in the eastern part of the Dutch province of Gelderland, and is a Rijksmonument. It was originally a fortified manor, known as Villa Dorenburc, before being converted into a castle in the 13th century. Its main castle and front castle are linked by a small wooden bridge, and its front castle, built in the 15th century, includes a chapel and a farm, unusual for a Dutch castle. Heavily damaged by British bombardment in March 1945, it was rebuilt between 1947 and 1968.
