Dr. Ward Beebe House
Saint Paul, United States

Exterior only
Visible from the street; the inside is private.
The Dr. Ward Beebe House is a three-story stucco prairie house in Saint Paul, Minnesota, designed by Purcell and Elmslie and built in 1912 as a wedding present from Bess Beebe's parents. It stands within the West Summit Avenue Historic District and is the firm's only house in Saint Paul. Its cross-gabled roof with deep eaves gives the narrow structure a broader look, and its corner windows were placed to take in views along Summit Avenue. The living and dining rooms share a hearth without dividing walls.
