Duart Castle, known in Scottish Gaelic as Caisteal Dhubhairt, stands beside the Sound of Mull on the Isle of Mull, off Scotland's west coast in Argyll and Bute. Dating from the 13th century, it is the seat of Clan MacLean. It was brought back from ruin in 1911, and the regimental colours of the 236th Battalion (New Brunswick Kilties), Canadian Expeditionary Force, are laid up in its Great Hall.
