Dubno Castle stands on a promontory above the Ikva River in Rivne Oblast, Ukraine. Founded in 1492 by Prince Konstantin Ostrogski, it was rebuilt in stone in the early 16th century and refortified in the Italian style under Prince Janusz Ostrogski in the early 17th century. Its later palace, a plain two-story building commissioned in the 1780s, is associated with Renaissance Revival architecture, and the castle is an architectural monument of national significance.
