The Duomo of San Giorgio, a Sicilian Baroque cathedral in Ragusa Ibla, was designed by Rosario Gagliardi and completed in 1775 after construction began in 1738. The church has gained modern recognition as a backdrop for the Italian television series Inspector Montalbano, appearing in the show's opening credits and several episodes alongside the similarly named cathedral of Modica.
