Earls Court Exhibition Centre was a major exhibition and events venue in London, straddling the boundary between the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. Its art moderne structure was built between 1935 and 1937 by the American architect C. Howard Crane, replacing earlier exhibition grounds opened in 1887. It hosted the Ideal Home Show, the British International Motor Show and the 1948 and 2012 Olympic Games, among many other events. Developers obtained a Certificate of Immunity from Listing in 2008, and the centre was demolished in 2017.
