The East Propylon is the eastern entrance gate of the Roman Agora in Athens, constructed between 19 and 11 BCE. Built in the Roman architectural tradition, the structure featured Ionic columns fashioned from gray Hymettian marble, a stone quarried locally in the Hymettus mountains east of the city.
